Enterprise Investors to sell MOYA owner Anwim to Stonepeak and Energy Equation Partners

Warsaw, June 11, 2026 — Polish Enterprise Fund VIII (PEF VIII), a private equity fund managed by Enterprise Investors (EI), announced today that it has agreed to sell Anwim, Poland’s largest independent fuel marketer and owner of the MOYA station network. The fund, together with the founders, will sell 100% of the company to a consortium of Stonepeak and Energy Equation Partners (EEP). The value of the deal remains undisclosed. Completion is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

When EI first invested in Anwim in 2018, the company operated 180 fuel stations. By the end of March 2026, the MOYA network had tripled to 540 locations, making it the third-largest and fastest-growing fuel station chain in Poland. Over the same period, Anwim evolved into a fully integrated player across imports, exports, wholesale and retail. Today, it operates the largest independent fuel station network in the country, with both company-owned and franchised locations.

This performance was driven by a clear strategy developed in close partnership with the founders and management team, who remained actively involved. The early launch of direct fuel imports secured diversified supply and improved margins in a market dominated by vertically integrated players.

MOYA continued to expand through a combination of organic growth and selective acquisitions, including independent stations and small station chains. In 2022, Anwim acquired The Fuel Company, a Dutch provider of fleet cards accepted at more than 8,000 stations in 18 European countries. This enabled customers to refuel across Europe and established a fleet card business within the group. At the same time, the company strengthened its non-fuel offering by rolling out the Caffe MOYA concept and an enhanced convenience retail proposition. More recently, it has invested in electric mobility and expects to operate approximately 180 EV chargers by year-end.

The acquisition by Stonepeak, a leading alternative investment firm specializing in infrastructure and real assets, and Energy Equation Partners (EEP), a specialist energy investment firm, follows the firms’ previous investment in JET Tankstellen in Germany and Austria and builds on their deep collective experience investing across the energy value chain.

Anwim is a great example of the type of growth we aim to deliver, said Sebastian Król, partner at EI responsible for the investment. Together with the founders and management, we have more than tripled the network, increased EBITDA more than fourfold, and transformed the company into a fully integrated fuel player, creating a strong platform for continued expansion.

Enterprise Investors is one of the largest private equity firms in Central and Eastern Europe. Active since 1990, the firm has raised nine funds. EI funds have invested and committed EUR 2.5 billion in 163 investments and exited 143 companies.
