Warsaw, 16 March, 2026 — Enterprise Investors Fund IX acquired a 65% stake in Art Wind, a Poland-based provider of wind turbine installation and maintenance services across Europe. The deal includes a full buyout of passive shareholders. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
Founded in 2019 by wind sector veteran Bartłomiej Bartsch-Rosiński, Art Wind specializes in installing and servicing wind turbines. The company delivers onshore wind projects across multiple European markets, with Germany accounting for most of its revenue. It has earned a strong reputation for operational excellence, a clean safety record and a scalable technical team – strengths that together have enabled consistent project delivery and robust financial performance. Art Wind generated revenue of approximately EUR 27 million in 2025.
Europe’s push to strengthen energy security and meet decarbonization targets is fueling investment in domestic renewable generation. Onshore wind is expected to remain a key pillar of this transition, with substantial new capacity additions forecast through 2030 and beyond, driving sustained demand for high-quality installation and maintenance service providers.
The investment will support Art Wind’s continued growth and enable the company to scale its operations in response to the sector’s ongoing expansion. Given its solid order backlog and strong relationships with key industry partners, Art Wind is well positioned to expand across Europe while maintaining high operational and safety standards.
“Art Wind operates in a niche segment of the renewable energy value chain that is benefiting directly from Europe’s energy transition,” said Sebastian Król, partner at Enterprise Investors and lead on the transaction. “The company’s operational track record, safety culture and long-standing relationships with leading turbine manufacturers provide a strong foundation for further growth and value creation.”
“In just a few years, we have built Art Wind into a trusted provider of wind turbine installation and maintenance services across Europe,” said Bartłomiej Bartsch-Rosiński, Art Wind’s founder and CEO. “With Enterprise Investors’ support, we can accelerate development by investing in people, expanding our operational capacity and entering new markets while staying focused on safety, quality and reliable delivery for our clients.”
The investment marks EI’s third transaction in the renewable energy sector, building on its successful exits from Polish Energy Partners (now Polenergia) through an IPO on the WSE and from Wento, which it sold to Equinor.
Enterprise Investors is one of the largest private equity players in Central and Eastern Europe. Active since 1990, the firm has raised ten funds. These have invested and committed EUR 2.4 billion in 163 companies, completing 142 exits.
